About The Boat:

The interior is laid out to our traditional 4 berth/2-cabin layout:    The forward daytime saloon area converts at night by lowering the twin dinette-tables to form either two (long) single berths or a wide double; the galley, wardrobe and shower facilities are mid-ships leaving a rear cabin area (closed off by the wardrobe door) with two single berths ( or an optional double-across) .   All upholstery and curtains are in good condition .

There is extensive storage under all the berths/daytime seating areas and the boat’s freshwater tank, (now upgraded to stainless steel), is situated under the bow and is filled from a screw-top fitting in the port forward quarter deck; is fitted with an electronic level gauge which provides read-out in the forward saloon.

The saloon area with her twin dinette tables provides seating and eating space for four persons, or all-round cushioned seating with the tables down.

The well equipped galley comprises two worktop areas opposite one another, has an enamel 4 burner and grill hob, matching sink & drainer, a bulkhead-mounted Paloma instantaneous water heater (supplying both sink and shower), a  12V Waeco 60L electric fridge, has generous shelved crockery and food space below, and a cutlery drawer.  The water system benefits from a dedicated filtered water supply adjacent to the sink.

Space heating is from two catalytic gas heaters, well placed in the galley and on the wardrobe door, the latter heating the rear cabin.   The vertical bulkheads at the rear carry a good array of useful adjustable shelving for books and maps and also contain the Marlec intelligent charge controller for the two 60W rooftop solar panels and which also has a battery condition read-out and a split charge facility for a second battery if ever needed.

At the stern end of the cabin, underneath the cockpit floor, there is the Beaver’s usual cavernous storage space stretching right to the back  of the hull capable of accommodating folding bank-side tables and chairs, barbecue etc or even folding bikes.

Externally, in the cockpit area there are the usual safety storage lockers (fire-retarded and compliant with UK, BSS regulations)  for the storage of petrol, gas and batteries. A gang-plank seat is also in evidence, providing a comfortable seat for helmsman and crew.

Sagitta is powered by a 9.9hp electric-start 4-stroke tiller-steered Yamaha engine which, although original to the boat, has been regularly serviced (every 100 hours) and is reported as running well, the engine-hour meter shows only 1,945 hours.   Unlike many later engines, it provides good electrical charging (10A max.)   .   On the electrical side, Sagitta has one x 110Ah leisure battery and has a well laid-out electrical switch panel mounted inside above the rear doors built by the current owner and is complete with circuit breakers.  Navigation lights and headlight are also fitted .

The LPG gas supply is from two propane bottles located outside in one of the rear safety lockers and has an auto-changeover facility for when one bottle becomes empty; all gas appliances are in good order .

In the hands of the current owners, this craft has an extensive service history which illustrates the level of care that is has received over the years.

There is an extensive inventory of loose equipment including a river anchor.

The Boat Safety Certificate runs to April 2021 and the boat is currently ashore on its trailer at the Vendors’ Lincolnshire home.

The vendors are seeking offers in the region of £14,950 which considered a fair asking price for the boat and its ancillary equipment in it's current condition.
